Originally this was going to be a dedicated Mathcad page. Instead it ended up being a miscellaneous page. I hope to use it to fill in some gaps and post some general items of interest.

Mathcad has a different application model that is not relational or like Excel. It is loaded with math functions, non-linear graphing and mathematical notation that can help a great deal in making a sheet presentable and easy to understand. Use all the math application models to your advantage in problem solving! Take a look at the NormalCurves and Student's sheets to see some of the things that you can do with Mathcad.

If you are interested in how some useful math functions are calculated, a great resource is Numerical Recipes in C. A great book to have. Something else worthwhile looking at is the ANSI SQL92 specification.
